The Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program assists households that are unable to pay rent and/or utilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hawaii County met the requirements for direct allocations of the $200 million received by the State of Hawaii.
The program is administered by the county in an effort to grant the funds to those in needs quicker. To be considered, check if your yearly household income is less than the annual maximum income amount based on the numbers of persons in your home.
